Refund policy

RecoveryAtelier carries products from two separate manufacturers, Dundalk LeisureCraft and Golden Designs Inc. Each manufacturer has its own cancellation and return terms, which are outlined separately below.

GOLDEN DESIGNS INC. PRODUCTS

Dynamic Infrared Saunas, Maxxus Infrared Saunas, GDI Reserve Edition Saunas, GDI Traditional Steam Saunas, Dynamic Cold Therapy Cold Plunges and Chillers

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. Contact us immediately at support@recoveryatelier.com.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. All items must be in original packaging. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required — contact us before shipping any return. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted. The buyer assumes all risk of loss.

New, original packaging, never opened: original outbound shipping + 120% of outbound for return inbound shipping.

New, original packaging, opened and assembled but never used: original outbound shipping + 120% of outbound for return inbound + 20% restocking fee.

Opened, assembled, and used: no return accepted.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after inspection.

Additional Freight Charges

  • Address change same city: $85.
  • Address change different city: $150 and up.
  • Redelivery 2nd attempt: $95.
  • Redelivery 3rd attempt: $150.
  • Storage at terminal after day 3: $125 per day.

Damaged Items

If your Golden Designs shipment arrives with visible damage, you have the right to refuse the delivery. Refusing a visibly damaged shipment is recommended. If you accept and discover hidden damage, photograph everything and contact us at support@recoveryatelier.com or +1 (512) 222-3446 with your photos and tracking email within 48 hours. We will coordinate with Golden Designs Inc. on your behalf. Replacement parts for properly documented damage are provided at no cost.

Warranty

Dynamic and Maxxus infrared saunas: 5-year warranty on heating elements and electronics, 1-year on wood structure and radio. GDI Reserve Edition and Traditional Steam saunas: 5-year on heating elements and electrical components, 1-year on radio. Dynamic Cold Therapy products: 1-year with lifetime product support. RecoveryAtelier registers your Golden Designs warranty on your behalf within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

DUNDALK LEISURECRAFT PRODUCTS

Order Cancellations

All Canadian Timber Collection products must be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. A $65 cancellation fee applies. Orders cannot be cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled ship date.

Order Modifications

Canadian Timber Collection orders follow the same 24-hour window. No modifications are accepted within 7 days of the ship date. Address changes after shipment carry a $250 fee.

Returns

Returns are not accepted for Dundalk LeisureCraft products. All sales are final. In exceptional circumstances where a return is approved: 20% restocking fee applies, customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, product must be in original packaging and condition, and LeisureCraft will inspect upon arrival and determine the refund amount. Delivery refusal without authorization carries a 15% restocking fee.

Damaged Items

If your Dundalk LeisureCraft shipment arrives with visible crate damage, accept the delivery. Before signing the Bill of Lading, photograph all damage and write "Crate arrived open/damaged — Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading. Contact us immediately at support@recoveryatelier.com.

Warranty

All Dundalk LeisureCraft products carry a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, parts only, beginning on the date of receipt by the original end-user. The Huum Hive electric heater carries a separate 3-year manufacturer warranty, excluding heating elements, rocks, and sensors. No service, labor, or installation costs are covered. All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician or the warranty is void.
