Shipping Policy

All orders ship free to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally at this time. Every product ships directly from the manufacturer.

Production and Shipping Timeline

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Products typically ship within 1 to 2 weeks depending on availability. You will receive tracking information by email once your order ships. The freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

Transit times vary by region but generally range from 3 to 7 business days after shipment.

Delivery Method: Curbside Freight

All Golden Designs products are delivered via curbside freight to the end of your driveway or curbside. The carrier does not move the product into your home, garage, or backyard and is not responsible for unloading. Most deliveries arrive via 18-wheel truck. Please confirm that your street can accommodate this size truck before your order ships.

We strongly recommend screening for dirt roads, dead-ends, and other access limitations before placing your order. If truck access may be limited, contact us before ordering and we will review your options.

Crate Sizes and Unloading

Crates range from approximately 6 to 14 feet long and weigh between 800 and 1,600 lbs depending on the product. You are responsible for unloading the crate from the truck. Common unloading solutions include a forklift, tilt tow truck, tractor or skid steer, or a small crew. We recommend arranging your unloading method before your scheduled delivery date.

We offer a complimentary pre-delivery consultation to help you confirm your address, access, and unloading plan before your shipment is scheduled. Contact us at support@recoveryatelier.com and we will walk through everything with you.

Inspecting Your Delivery

If your Golden Designs shipment arrives with visible damage, you have the right to refuse the delivery. Refusing a visibly damaged shipment is recommended.

If you accept the delivery and discover hidden damage after unpacking, photograph all damage immediately and contact us at support@recoveryatelier.com or +1 (512) 222-3446 with your photos and a copy of your tracking email within 48 hours. We will coordinate with Golden Designs Inc. on your behalf. Replacement parts for properly documented damage are provided at no cost. Additional Freight Charges

The following charges may apply and are the responsibility of the customer:

  • Address change, same city and freight terminal: $85
  • Address change, different city and freight terminal: $150 and up
  • Redelivery, 2nd attempt: $95
  • Redelivery, 3rd attempt: $150
  • Storage at destination terminal after day 3: $125 per day

Dundalk LeisureCraft products are handcrafted to order. Current estimated build times range from 6 to 12 weeks depending on the model. We will confirm the current build date for your specific product at the time of order. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email. The freight carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

Delivery Method: Curbside Freight

All Dundalk LeisureCraft products are delivered via curbside freight to the end of your driveway or curbside. The carrier is not responsible for unloading and will not back their truck into your driveway. Most deliveries arrive via 18-wheel truck. Please confirm that your street and neighborhood can accommodate this size truck prior to ordering.

If your sauna crate is under 92 inches long, the trucking company may have a lift gate available to assist getting the crate off the truck. If your crate is over 92 inches, no lift gate will be available and you will need to arrange your own unloading method in advance.

Crate Sizes and Unloading

Crates range from approximately 6 to 14 feet long and weigh between 800 and 1,600 lbs depending on the model. You are responsible for unloading the crate from the truck. Common unloading solutions include:

  • Forklift (must be used from the end of the crate; extensions required)
  • Renting a tilt tow truck to collect the sauna from the local terminal
  • A crew of helpers to assist unloading while on the truck

We recommend arranging your unloading method before your scheduled delivery date.

Contact us before your order ships if you have questions about driveway access, truck clearance, or unloading logistics.

Inspecting Your Delivery

If your Dundalk LeisureCraft shipment arrives with visible crate damage, you may accept the delivery. Before signing the Bill of Lading, photograph all damage and note "Crate arrived open/damaged, Possible Hidden Damage" on the Bill of Lading. Contact us immediately at support@recoveryatelier.com so we can notify Dundalk and the carrier.
